Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July the great summer party at Lago delle Rose in Ornavasso (Verbania, Lake Maggiore).
Here's how to spend a beautiful July day with children, between the lake and the mountains.
You can choose between the day ticket (free admission from 10:00 to 16:30), which also includes lunch, with a choice of grilled meat, skewers, typical picnic, children's menu, vegetarian and celiac picnic, or the evening ticket, that from the afternoon (16:30) will still allow you to carry out all the activities up to the dinner and the evening event of the Bosco dei Owl, with the flight of nocturnal birds of prey.
Here is what we will do during the day (all included in the ticket):
- Guided naturalistic excursion (for those who wish) along the Fortifications and tunnels of the Cadorna Line, of about 1 hour, suitable for everyone. For children it can also be fun to bring a torch, although the sections of the tunnel are short it will be even more exciting. , and the night flight of birds of prey (for the evening ticket) .- Quidditch playing field with the wizard Dumbledore, for all fans of Harry Potter and beyond. Quidditch (download rules) is a game on board the magic brooms, which will take place in the park of the Rose Lake.
- 10 play stations with marbles, like Harry Potter's "magic humpbacks" but suitable for everyone, even for challenges between adults or adults and children ...

But that's not all ... if you wish you can also try the search for gold, directly in the park of the Lago delle Rose: the activity is optional, no reservation is required.
Each participant will receive a batea (the classic container for the search for river gold) with real gold flakes that will be found by the prospectors (children or adults) and a test tube to take home the gold filaments as a souvenir.
At the falconry station you can also do the Baptism of the glove: if your boy or girl wishes, they can also be Harry Potter themed clothes for the photo with the owl or the owl.
Do you want to let your children also experience the thrill of sleeping in a tent?
If you want you can stay overnight in the area with your tent, during the night you can use the restrooms of the restaurant (no showers). Restaurant also open for breakfast on Sunday mornings.
